EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps individuals process and move on from distressing experiences. It is a unique approach that uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain naturally reprocess memories in an accelerated way that typically leads to significant healing. Using EMDR, people can work through traumatic experiences without having to spend hours recounting the details. I also use AF-EMDR, which is adapted to focus on processing attachment traumas, such as abusive or neglectful relationships with parents or caregivers.
